    Winter Hours
    Friday, November 1 – Friday, February 28
    Walk the trails and visit Liberty dawn until dusk, as usual.
    Building hours Monday and Saturday, 10-4:30, Sunday 1-4:30.
    Building closed Tuesday-Friday with some exceptions:
    Special Building Hours* for programming and by appointment.

    First Friday Lunch Bunch (Adult)
    The Magic Behind Winter Lights – Steve French

    A nature related talk is followed by BYO brown bag lunch and conversation. Audubon provides coffee and tea.  Learn from “Frenchy”of  Volt Vision some of the secrets of the interactive light displays you will see at Audubon’s Winter Lights later in December.

    Wreath-Making Workshop (Adult+)
    Saturday, December 6, 2014, 10:00am-12:00pm
    Learn the art of making evergreen wreaths.

    Photo Club (Adult)
    Thursday, December 11, 2014, 6:30-9:00pm
    Camera tips and tricks, photo critique, guest speakers, etc.

    Winter Lights at Audubon (All)
    Fridays & Saturdays, December 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, 27, 2014,
    Sunday, December 28, 2014, 5:30pm-8:30pm
    One half mile of trail is lit up with interactive LED lights that you can control! You have to experience it to believe it. The building is open with hot chocolate and snacks.

    Little Explorers (Children aged 3-8 and a Grownup)
    Winter Mysteries – CANCELLED due to low enrollment
    Saturday, December 13, 2014, 10:00am-11:30am
    Ever wonder what animals are active in the winter? Come and learn! A nature lesson, walk, craft, and a snack make for a fun-filled morning of learning.

    Holiday Potluck (All)
    Thursday, December 18, 2014, 11:30am-1:30pm
    Join Audubon staff and volunteers for a celebration of the season. Bring a dish to pass and a gift for a local charity.

    *Special Holiday Hours (All)
    The nature center building is normally closed Tuesday-Friday in Winter. But we make these exceptions around the holidays.  Come on down; bring your out-of-town visitors!
